On August 21, Dutch producer Tal Groenman released a captivating new EP called Echoes in Bloom on the esteemed label The Other Side, featuring two emotionally charged originals and a stunning remix by none other than El Mundo. This EP tells a story of transformation, of finding light after darkness, and of new beginnings after struggle. The first track, “We Remember,” was born during a period of emotional unrest and isolation after a shock of violence in a setting close to his own. The track expresses personal grief. “We Remember” is a space for sorrow — to feel, to listen, and not to look away. In contrast, the second track, “Nena’s Garden,” symbolizes hope and renewal. Named after the newborn daughter of a close friend — whose mother happens to be a huge fan of El Mundo — the track emerged from the joyful afterglow of a rare night out and was completed around the time of Nena’s birth.
